Blood Purification Center was founded in 1973 with 6 dialysis bed, and the number of the beds increased to be 10 in 1991. In June, 2007, the center was relocated to the 4th floor of the west annex of the hospital, where we currently operate 6 days a week with 25 dialysis beds.

We offer extensive blood purification therapy that covers various areas, including hemodialysis initiation, management of maintenance hemodialysis patients with complications, treatment of acute kidney injury, apheresis therapies for renal, neurologic, gastrointestinal, liver, and skin diseases. More recently, we promote peritoneal dialysis initiation and contribute to the pre- and post-operative management of kidney transplant patients.

The annual number of the patients undergone dialysis initiation is 45-50, and we treat 400-430 patients on maintenance hemodialysis per year. Dialysis is performed under constant supervision of a physicians, nurses, and clinical engineers to ensure the safety of these therapies.

Now, our outpatient dialysis service is available in the morning and night on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and in the morning on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
