Welcome to the Department of Dermatology at the Fukuoka University Hospital. We practice various kinds of skin disorders in the dermatological fields, ensuring that patients receive the most advanced treatments available. Especially, we specialize in the disorders as follows: atopic dermatitis, herpes zoster, herpes simplex, psoriasis, neurofibromatosis type 1(Von Recklinghausen's disease), and benign and malignant skin tumor. We make our best efforts to find the cause or pathophysiology of the skin disease through various examinations, including the skin biopsy. On a regular schedule, clinicopathological conference with pathologists have taken place for difficult cases.

The outpatient clinic is open everyday except Saturday, public holidays, Sunday. The clinic hours for new patients are generally from 8:40 to 12:00 on Monday to Friday. The dates and the attending doctors at outpatient clinic are as follows. However, the doctors may change without notice. Incisional biopsy or some simple procedures can be performed within the clinic, and more serious conditions such as examinations and/or treatment for malignant skin tumor, severe dermatitis, general infectious disease may require hospitalization.
