Neurology Center of Fukuoka University Hospital includes 5 board certified specialists and research coordinators dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of adult patients with neurological disorders. We provide care across the spectrum of neurological disorders, including cerebrovascular disease, neurodegenerative disease (Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, spinocerebellar degeneration, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, dystonia), autoimmune disease (multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis), muscle and nerve disease (peripheral neuropathy and myopathy), and functional disorders (epilepsy, migraine, restless legs syndrome). Common symptoms with these neurological disorders include headache, numbness, dizziness, tremor, gait disturbance, cognitive decline, consciousness disturbance and seizure.

We provide the best medical care for all patients with disease-specific, patient oriented approach.

We provide the following examinations:

  • Imaging tests (X-P, CT, MRI, SPECT,)
  • Neurophysiological tests (EEG, EMG, NCS,)
  • Ultrasonography
  • Lumbar puncture
  • Muscle biopsy, peripheral nerve biopsy (inpatient only)
